The Good
DigiDrummer has to be one of/the best drummer apps on the App Store at the moment. The developer, Magnus Larsson is always guaranteeing satisfaction by providing constant updates. The interface itself is very simple. The top bar consists of a ‘DigiDrummer’ heading, Record, Play and Settings buttons. On the right there are up and down arrows to go through the drum kits. The rest of the screen is occupied by 8 drums. They can be displayed in the classic skin (small circles) or the ‘Fatty Thumbs Skin’ (large squares). Hitting the Record button will start recording what ever you play. Afterwards, pressing record again and then save will let you type a title for your little beat and save it in your ‘Library’. Also, it has a very low price tag of $1.19 (at the moment anyway).
The Bad
The response time for hitting a drum can be delayed sometimes but that is caused via the iPhone or iPod touch hardware, not the app. There is no way to get your beats off your device and onto somewhere else. An email addition would be nice.
In a Nutshell
Basically almost everything you could want in a drumming app at a very low price.
